RELX to Acquire French Legal AI Firm Doctrine
RELX Group, which owns LexisNexis® Legal & Professional, a global leader in information, analytics and AI-powered legal workflow solutions, has offered to acquire Doctrine. The French legal AI platform is recognised for its advanced tools in legal search, analysis, drafting and practitioner workflows, including Flow Litigate and Flow Counsel.
This proposed acquisition would accelerate the delivery of enhanced, trusted, and intuitive legal AI workflow solutions in France and across key European jurisdictions, including Germany, Spain, and Italy, helping customers improve productivity and achieve better outcomes.

The proposed acquisition is subject to the completion of applicable information and consultation procedures with the relevant employee representative bodies, as well as customary regulatory consents. The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. The two companies will continue to operate separately in the interim.
