Supio Agent: From AI Assistant to Autonomous Case Ops

Supio has announced advancements to Supio Agent that move legal AI from task-based assistance to autonomous execution across the life of a case. Almost all legal AI is built to produce one artefact and stop, whether that’s a summary, a draft or an answer. Supio Agent now combines deep legal intelligence, firm-wide context and long-horizon agents that execute complex workflows across systems and communication channels. Both capabilities run on FirmOS, Supio’s operating layer that holds a firm’s full context at the case, caseload and firm level, so information continuously turns into action while attorneys stay focused on decisions, strategy and client relationships.

The two capabilities address the same problem: firms lose enormous capacity to cases that sit idle. Records arrive over weeks, providers have to be chased for them, and cases stall while the people who could move them are busy elsewhere. Now, plaintiff firms can work faster and build a more intelligent case-building architecture that unifies information and provides context, ultimately driving measurable business value across a firm’s entire portfolio.

Two new Supio Agent capabilities:

  • Long-horizon agents that work the entire case: A plaintiff case unfolds over months in dozens of small increments. Supio Agent now operates across that full life cycle, carrying work over days and weeks and across email, fax, phone and text. The agent keeps momentum on the case rather than waiting to be asked, escalating to an attorney when human judgement is required.
  • Vetted medical provider network and records integration: Medical treatment is where case value forms, and it happens almost entirely outside the firm’s view. Plaintiff firms will be able to find vetted medical providers within Supio and refer clients directly, allowing the agent to carry the referral end-to-end: it schedules the visit, confirms with the client and brings records and treatment plans back into the case automatically after each visit, keeping the chronology and ledger current with no chasing. Supio will roll out the referral network initially in California through a series of leading provider networks, then nationally via integrations in the coming months.

‘Supio Agent is fundamentally changing the way firms operate, using AI beyond completing individual tasks. The reality is, firms lose time to the calls, the records and the follow-ups, and that’s where their capacity actually goes,’ said Jerry Zhou, CEO and co-founder of Supio. ‘Supio Agent stays with the work 24/7/365, understands what changed and takes the next step, all on its own, handing decisions back to the attorney when their judgement is necessary. Getting that time back is what lets a firm take on the clients it would otherwise have to turn away.’
