Scout was created to help mid-size law firms globally stay efficient and get the most out of their Actionstep Practice Management platform, all from a secure, AI-powered resource trained on Actionstep help content that is available at any time within the platform.
 
Developed to help users of Actionstep Practice Management save time, increase productivity, and unlock additional value from their Practice Management platform, Scout provides instant, accessible support while working within the platform.

Powered by the same OpenAI technology behind ChatGPT, Scout is trained exclusively on content from the Actionstep Practice Management Help Centre and Knowledge Hub, and does not access external data sources or share any law firm user data. Since its introduction, Scout has successfully resolved 83% of queries and saved approximately 140 hours for the customer support team.
 
For firms using Actionstep’s Practice Management platform, Scout assists with:

• Instant Q&As: Scout searches across Actionstep’s Practice Management Help Centre to find the most relevant, accurate response in seconds, ranging from how to generate use case-specific reporting to creating contacts and matters with custom information.
• Smart summaries: Scout extracts insights from multiple help articles and Knowledge Hub sources, combining them into easy-to-read and understandable responses.
• Step-by-step assistance: Scout provides users with thorough, step-by-step guidance to help them complete tasks in Actionstep Practice Management.
• Simplify workflow: Scout is designed to enhance the experience of legal professionals in Actionstep Practice Management by answering questions and providing in-app guidance, ensuring users can stay within the platform and remain focused on the task.

While many Actionstep Practice Management users are already using Scout, it does not replace existing customer support options, including the Help Centre, Actionstep Academy, and the Knowledge Hub.
