Callidus Legal AI to Build Core Litigation Workflows
Callidus Legal AI, the AI platform that automates and accelerates core litigation workflows, has announced $10 million in funding, bringing the company's total funding to date to $13 million. With this new capital, Callidus will continue its strong growth trajectory, double the speed of its product development to support its more than 1,000 customers, and extend its market reach.

Callidus outputs include exhaustive precedent research, element-by-element legal outlines, and fully drafted, citation-rich litigation documents. The highly visual Callidus research system keeps the lawyer in the loop, with the AI synthesising robust data and the lawyer making strategic decisions. This process condenses a task that typically takes a week into approximately ten minutes, achieving an 85% completion rate. From there, the lawyer can refine the full litigation outlines and extensive litigation draft document outputs using other Callidus tools, including those integrated with Microsoft Word, to prepare final versions for court.
Callidus expects to triple its team size over the coming months, with new hires across product, engineering, customer success, and legal AI research in both Texas and California.
